The amount of wear really does not have much to do with squeaks. Squeaks generally come from two sources. One is a very high frequency vibration where the metal backside of each pad meets the caliper. That's why those surfaces are usually coated with what is called brake grease. The second source is a glazing on the pad surface. You can try two things - although I gather you are not a DIY person. Grease the back of the pads, and lightly sand the front side. You don't say if the pads are original, or if they have been replaced. Sometimes certain pads just squeak, and the only option is to replace them, even if they are not worn.

thanks. i actually went to autozone and got something called "brake stop squeal" it was 7$ pink spray. i sprayed my front rotors and pads and boom, no more squeak! now i have an extra pair of brand new oem brake pads i spent 400 on lol
