Blackstone | Oil Report - 8000mls.
Greetings fellow forum members,
Here's my oil report from Blackstone laboratories. So far so good. Stock engine, aside from AMS catless exhaust, acquired from IND and installed at MRF Engineering. The report reads as follows;

I have made the 10,000 km service for my M6 coupe a week ago , my car's odo was 11,200 almost. The surprise was as below:
After an oil change in 1000 km (recommended by dealer). I have not faced any oil top up. Which was very often in the previous V10 engines. Also on other turbo cars I had like porsche 996 turbo or V10 biturbo Audi RS6. The surprise was when I reached 9,800km odo. I drove my car to Bahrain (neighbor country that has lovely circuit) which was 300km far from Kuwait. Then spend a heavy track day there, come back to home, measured the oil and bingo!.. oil still at the same level.(between Max and Min , a bit biased to Min). This is unexpected from a V8 twin turbo engine. |
