Persistent camshaft sensor error code

I own a 2013 M6 F13 and have encountered intake camshaft position sensors fault code P0342 and PO347. Have changed the sensors but codes remain. As there is poor chance that both brand new sensors could be faulty, I thought problem could be coming from elsewhere like ECU for example. Help and advices would be appreciated as this drives me nut.
