To buy a 640d GC?

Hi,

I've been looking through deals for a 2014 640d gran coupe, and I found a pretty good deal for around 75k euros. The only problem is, is it a good idea to buy a 6 GC, since I found some posts on the internet saying BMW is going to discontinue gran coupes, etc.

I don't want to buy a car and then, in two years, end up with a car that is discontinued.

What do you guys think?

I don't know if they are discontinuing them but what difference does it make if they do?

The only thing that's stopping me from buying the car is that it's going to be worth around 50k after 2 years, plus I think it's going to be harder to sell it if they discontinue the car, so that could be another 10k less then.

I kind of know there's no simple answer to this question. In the end, it's up to me to make the decision. I just wanted to see if someone else knows more about the discontinuation.

It will be renamed, but not discontinued.
