N63TU carbon fiber intake

Just installed the N63intake.com carbon fiber cold air system on my car. A little more challenging than I had planned for a Saturday morning but well worth it. It looks great in the engine compartment and the cone filters behind the grill looks exotic. If anyone out there wants to tackle this feel free to PM me for some pointers.

Not sure how much of a garage queen your car is, but I am interested to hear how it performs in a rain storm. those open cone filters right in front of the grill scare me.

This is my daily driver. About 300 miles/week. I have had this type of intake on other cars without a problem. I just drove through a downpour this morning...
I'll keep you posted if anything pops up.

I did one bank on the first day...took about 3 hours because it took me a while to get the angles right and I had to modify the holes under the front latches 3 or 4 times. The second side took about 1 1/2 hours because I did the mods before I tried to install.

Got to say this mod is suspect. The OEM intake is very functional and not worth the overall money and labor to upgrade. Interesting to note that a drop in cleanable high flow is not available. Taking out he carbon stack would be the first step and might be the best. The N63 intake is great looking but my opinion good money might be spent heading another direction.
