Nipped into Porsche Yesterday

Thought id nip in to see what the panamera is looking like on the facelift. Its beautiful inside except for a couple of things which i couldnt believe they didnt change but anywho, i spoke to a sales guy and he said Aug/sep they are releasing a V8 Diesel panamera with a 40-50mpg fuel consumption...... Hello new car 😍 I took the cayenne v8 out for an engine test although it wont handle or drive the same as the lighter pan but jesus it roars like hell!

Hmm the only thing that ever puts me off the Panamera is the looks....even the updated one won't change much.

The other factor with Porsche is paying through the nose on options, I sometimes think BMW are bad, but Porsche take the p*ss.

I know someone speccing a Macan up for potential purchase - £50K base and not even Xenon headlights, halogen as standard...mad.

My last 7 was 22 grand and 2.5 yrs old when I bought it, they depreciate like a sack of shit lol... I had 2 F01 models

Maybe the new ones will hold but there already being sold at 47k ex demo on AUC so that's a 30 grand saving as most have a few options, so 2.5 years time half price ?? That's about right for 7s in my experience mate

I remember clarkson working out the daily depreciation on a 7 series a few years ago and it was hillarious

Add - sorry I was meaning the ex demo cars that are 6 month old now, prob should have said 3 year old models
