San Marino Blue is nice...

Starting to look at the M6, Alpine White was my top choice until now.

This color combo is my favorite. What do you guys think?

I think its clean.

FYI I just got my F12 M6 from BMW Encintas and got $15k off sticker since its a 2013 with a few hundred miles, good time to buy with the 2014s in route!

One of my favorites and it was actually a combination I was thinking about. Go for it, Blue with silverstone is amazing.

I see a San Marino blue M6c in my work parking lot every day. I am not a big fan of that color. I prefer the white, black, or silver stone over the blue.

thanks for the feedback guys. I am considering holding off for a 2014. Would the '13 and 14' be identical?

San Marino Blue is very appealing, especially with the gray interior.

delano, just curious what you paid for the car out the door. I am considering a lease and was curious how low they would potentially go.

It had every option including Individual leather so the sticker was around $137k and they gave it to me for $122k plus T&L. Lease payments are $1730, 3 year,15k miles year.

For the record as much as I like the citrin black, I would have preferred alpine white. White with the platinum interior is super crispy

If you are considering the 2014 as well then I wold wait and drive one, even at the risk of the 2013 going away. The steering is markedly better and more connected feeling. I brought one home the other day and drove it for the night. I did runs on a curvy road with my 2013 M5, my 2013 M6 convertible and the 2014 Coupe. I was not looking for this in the car. I was simply comparing the cars to see if I might wan to trade the M5 for one. After driving the 2014 M6 I jumped in my M5 and IMMEDIATELY noticed a VERY BIG change. Made the M5 feel "bulky" if that makes sense. Then I switched to the 2013 M6 and it had a similar feel, albeit less (but not by much-very similar), in the steering. I attribute the extremely slight diff in the 2013 M5 and 2013 M6 feel to the general characteristics of the cars themselves. The M6 just sort of feels more connected naturally and I also prefer the feel of the wheel. In reality, it is likely the steering is pretty much the same. I jumped back in the 2014 M6 to confirm that I was not nuts and I sure wasn't. BIG TIME improvement. It was one of the biggest deciding factors for me in taking the car back o the dealer the next day and ordering a 2014 coupe. I opted for the comp pkg, which reportedly has even MORE connected steering with much faster response in the inner turning range of the variable steering to give it even more track performance like responsiveness. Aong with the improvements to the diff and suspension, I think it will feel like an entirely different car.

As for the San Marino Blue-it is a cool color. My buddy has a GC in that color and I was wavering between the SMB and Black and then after choosing black I said "hey-what about AW?" and there was the decision!

I think SMB is a color that really pops but I think it looks better on the GC. IMO it may be one of those colors that I personally might like on the coupe for a couple of weeks and then think "I should have gotten a more true "BMW/sports car" color". With me, that is a dangerous feeling as it is likely to be traded quickly. Plus with AW any mods you do (especially CF) stand out so nicely and compliment the car. I have ordered a sweet set of ADV1 Trac Spec SL wheels with a very cool glossy smoke lip finish and a full Vorsteiner Aero kit. When picturing these mods on the M6 between SMB and AW it was an easy choice.
