Reprogramming, lost my music tone settings
6 team,
the car went for an OS upgrade and my specially tuned BMW audio programming settings we're lost along with everything else on the computer back to factory defaults. I dont have the B&O system but with everything default now it sounds terrible anyone have a guide on how to tune this thing to sound great? mostly listening to top 100, hiphop and house. Also for anyone interested OS is DZ02758 MN-002.045.001 & TN-002.045.001 otherwise i'll need another service appointment. |

Love the subtle enhancements from latest software upgrade
My 6 series GranCoupe required a couple of things attended to under warranty and thereafter, the Software has been upgraded to the latest version.
Have noticed the map rendering is a lot sharper, with a more fluid movement as you drive along a route. Also at the star of a journey there is a animation sequence showing total route, route criteria and then resolving to 3D perspective mode. Steering wheel heating icon shows briefly on instrument panel when it is activated or deactivated. There is a small new OPTIONS icon on the right of the screen to signal the options sub-menu accessible by twisting the idrive right. There is a new closing animation sequence at the end of a navigated route or when you turn off ignition. Has anyone noticed other changes?
