Agreed bro. Or honestly just pack in a little more luxury and badge it as what the car originally is/was - a 7GT.

Agree.. looks like a minor update and a badge change. Still very unattractive and also very expensive

looks like it got so much hate they had to close the first thread?

Like I said, they should've taken some notes from my work with the GT. Maybe then people would've liked it a bit more, lol.

I'm very confused about what this model is replacing. Is it replacing the 5er GT? And is this going to be the only model in the new 6 series lineup and to get a "6" you'll need to upgrade to the 8 series now?

I think so. I really don't get this move by BMW.

Ya I know I don't know why they didn't just continue this model under the 5 GT name, even loyal BMW enthusiast are once again confused about the actions of the company. If only they read this forum :

Itd look even sexier with a CVT and a sliding set of rear doors but if you ask me I'd just go with the new panamera

So 5GT was not selling well and somebody at BMW decided that naming it 6-series will help...

OK.

They should have brought the glass house in to create strong rear wheel arches and hips like on the Panamera.

Without that it doesn't look sporty. All the G-series BMWs are too flat sided and lack muscular curves.
