Delivery today 650ix GC

Good Morning All,

Excited to officially be joining the BMW family today. Going to pick up my 2014 650ix GC later this morning and plan on following up with pics shortly thereafter. If anyone wants to see something specific on the car let me know and I will be sure to include those shots. The car is sapphire black/black, m sport edition, cold weather, adaptive drive & b&o.

They have a very nice BMW facility in Westbury. Unfortunately, I picked up mine from Bayside BMW last February, but when I went with a coworker to pick up is 650i convertable from Rilley last month, I wish I had shopped around more.

Two previous BMWs from Rallye (535 ix SportWagon, then 535 xiGT). Picking up my new 640 ix Vert from Manhattan next month
Rallye is probably no worse than any of the others but just had enough of them.

Congrats on the upcoming the purchase next month. I've been the Manhattan dealership, apparently is direct from BMW and independently owned. I hope your experience there goes nice and smooth. Fortunately for me my experience at Rallye was a good one.

You are absolutely right, I've been slacking on the pics. After tomorrow's snow storm I'll take a bunch and post them.

Since delivery I've driven about 500 miles so far and absolutely love the car. In terms of cosmetics changes I installed the OEM aluminum gas/brake pedals, 10 piece LED light upgrade kit (2 dome lights front/back, 4 reading lights front/back & 4 puddle lights for the doors), 40% tints & Black Kidney Grills. Aside from the above here are a few quick highlights having had the car for 10 days.

• I love the digital dash - looks incredible
• Sport / Sport + is my preferred driving mode
• B&O system sounds excellent
• Adaptive Drive, can't sense a difference just yet having this in my car. My buddy has the same exact car without it and it feels almost the same (as a passenger).
