Eurocharged EC820 PP + Vorsteiner - in the works!

Dropped it off this morning at Eurocharged for this package. Their EC820 kit consists of tune, castles down pipes, and intakes. I had them install my full Vorsteiner kit while it was up on the hoist. KW HAS kit was installed yesterday.

I love the work these guys do. Their in house tuning guru is a genius, and did an amazing job squeezing 700ft/lbs of reliable torque out of my E63.

I have a set of 21" Velos S3 on the way as well.

I'm super excited, as in stock form, the power of this car did nothing for me.

I will post my butt dyno results tomorrow night after I've driven it. Can't wait!

Is that yours in the background? so thats the MSR intake?

I didn't quite see 820 (crank hp BTW), Id be curious as you what you get when you dyno.

I cannot see how you are going to achieve or how they claim 820hp from the mods you described. I am working with EuroCharged Houston and I will be lucky to hit 820hp with modified turbos and a fully modded car intake to exhaust running methanol. I apologize if I am pissing on your parade but I Just don't see it happening unless they use a Unicorn Dyno.

Lmao. But no.

They have this exact setup a few times on F10 M5's that have pulled around 680whp. My car is a little too low for their dyno, but has exact same setup, except for I have MSR intakes, and their other EC820 cars are AFi. They use a Dyno Dynamics, and crank numbers are calculated at a 780-820 range depending on fuel and temperature.

It was raining out in the afternoon, but I did get a chance to drive in the dry for the past 2hrs. It's a completely different car. Night/day. The sounds it makes now are unbelievable. Totally quiet at idle, until you open her up. No drone whatsoever, and I have the electronic valves too.

The real test is if I can run the M6 against my E63... Sometime soon.

Did you do catless down pipes? This is the key ingredient in the mix. And we have 94 octane here.

I don't have the downpipes, but not sure they get you an extra 100hp. 93 octane is the norm here, but I can tune w 101 if needed for an extra 30+hp, but not tuned that way for daily.

What did you dyno?

Have not yet. My car is too low. I have to raise it first.

I went in asking for 650whp, and if I got more than that, I'm happy. What I'm most interested in is the torque increase, the driveability, and of course the amazing noises coming from my tailpipes.

My AMG E63 gained 65hp from just the down pipes. They are a major factor in TT hp gains.

I dynod 640hp on eurocharged awd dyno, that's roughly 744 crank, and that was tuning all day long, I think if you were close to that you would be good, I cant say that without tuning it you would see much more.

Really? That seems like a huge HP gain for only putting on catless downpipes.

I would say them claiming 820hp is a bit of a stretch. You are probably putting down 640whp (which is great) but that doesn't equate to 820bhp. I think the whole 820 is a bit of a marketing ploy. I am sure your car is night and day from what it was so that is awesome!

Yes I remember it was 62-65whp. Even my GTR gained 55whp with my catless down pipes. I can find those pics of the dyno results somewhere on some tablet in my house. I will try to find them.

Marketing ploy? Possibly. I'll know more once I get this big bitch on that dyno. But I finally had a chance tonight to play around with my buddy's F10 M5 with no down pipes, some muffler delete, and some random tune. Even with the split second jump he got on me, I was able to pull roughly 4 cars through just 3rd and 4th. And the entire 3rd gear, the rear of my car was fidgety. I am installing a pair of 305-30-20 Michelin Sport Cup 2 tomorrow (rears).

I am no closer to getting it on a dyno. It is just way too low. We just completed the BlackListRally and on this drive, I pulled the new MacLaren 650, Huracan and various other 600+ hp cars with ease.

You can see some awesome pics on my IG page allen_simplytire
