I don't have comp mufflers but I am currently in the process of having M6 mufflers installed on my car. With my Vorsteiner diffuser, I really wanted 4" tips. I am planning on keeping the valve in place on the mufflers so I may need to have the shop cut the inner "non-valve" outlet pipe and install an s-pipe. I dropped the car off yesterday with the shop with the following tips. The burnt blue look may or may not be your taste but I like them so I hope nobody gives me any grief. I love the glossy carbon tips too but I couldn’t find anything that would work in my situation.

Do not buy these ones. They are 8" long (despite their posting incorrectly indicating they are 9" long) and they will stick out way too far.

I just ordered the ones below and plan to have the shop cut them off right at the weld and have the shop weld them on, which will help to maintain the valve.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you go with. Hopefully I’ll be able to post up some pics next week after the tips are delivered.

Had the M6 mufflers installed this week and had these tips welded on to the outlet pipes from the M6 mufflers. Sound is wonderful (no more drone!!!) and I love how these tips fill in the diffuser opening. Couple things that kind of surprised me:

1. My muffler guy said the M6 mufflers weren't a perfect fit. He was able to work around it but he thought that since my car is a convertible, and there is a brace under the car, I maybe should have tried an F12 M6 muffler instead of the F13's that I bought. It all worked out in the end though.

2. I was thinking I would need to s pipe the outlet without the valve but my guys indicated that was not required.

Adding a couple more. I hear you on the blue. It was really down to the burnt blue or carbon tips. I loved 'em both.

Do you guys happen to know the inlet size for the F12 M6? Ordering cf tips this week and website has different size options. I want to make sure I order the correct size. Thanks!

Wonder if anyone has experience with 80mm inlet so that you can bolt on with provided clamp and not require welding?

The links don't work anymore. Which is the model that is short enough?
All I can find is M-performance or Akra copies, but those are too long.
