Only in the U.S. Was it delayed, not withdrawn

If you could find out WHY it was delayed- then please inform us because no one knows the why seeing how the comp package specs hasn't changed from previous models (2014/2015 models) for the U.K.s 2016s

Is the new HUD just on the M or on all 6 series? I haven't heard about a new HUD.

All 6 series. Every car reviewer on the 2016s have claimed it, just no details as to how. The 2016s 640/650 have officially hit dealers though, you can search and find them on auto trader

Sorry WELM6 I should have been more specific. We still do not know why the CP has been withdrawn in Germany. I am on my way to my (German) dealer today to find out. As it is available from July they may have some information. Cheers.

Just got back last night from my monthly trip down to our suppliers just outside Munich.

Had to go in my Nissan Navara, as the new M6 hasn't arrived yet. Delivery now due 18th May.

Roll on 18th May, as it was a bit of a jaunt in the Navara!!

Was a bit disappointed that you can't arrange to collect your new car from the factory, as I am down there every month! Seems this option is not available to UK customers....

We sell and install breweries in the UK and one of our suppliers is in Freising just outside Munich, so I have to make regular visits!

My ca said it's simply placed with the order. There's no back order or anything. Ask him to get his GM involved because I had them add the diffuser, the spoiler, and the M performance wheel with LEDs included in my msrp with the installment being at VPC.

Perfect!!! That's amazing. The 6 series have officially hit stateside so it's just around the corner. It's getting reaaalllll close for you man!

I'm just going to keep my order in. It was confirmed that it's normal to be delayed with a lot of individual parts, let alone both ext and int- so that I shouldn't be discouraged. Any day now- should turn 150 since it's showing production build to be week 20 for me and hasn't changed

I think I may have found the answer! I now believe that there will be a new Competition Paket available in Germany from July and that this is connected to the M Drivers Paket only available in Germany. USA and UK are not affected as M Drivers Paket is not available in those markets. What else though? More power? All will be revealed in time. Cheers!

M Drivers is the 305kmh top speed limit instead of the usual 250kmh, but nothing else in this generation. Interesting. Shame it isn't a 600PS engine

I will just hope the CP can be put on my order once we get closer to the production date. I am doing delivery at BMW Welt in Munich on 10 August, and they will just work backward from that date to manufacture it to be ready. I'm told they do not like cars sitting around longer than necessary. I suppose that means production in the last few days of July or even early August?
