Do not visit dealers just call in all the dealers in 200 miles radius using Cars.com. I got my 2014 GC from a dealer located 100+ miles away. I'm not loyal to any dealer. Whoever was the dealer i leased before is my starting ground to find out how the rates is for the NEW car i want.

Tools i have used to getting lease:

- Cars.com for NEW CARS.
- AmericanExpress cars Program
- Google
- Promotional Post Cards
- And monthly Promotion
I basically agree. I don't give a rat's a$$ about money factors, invoice, discounts, rebates, residual or the color of the salesmans hair. When I lease, it's about the payment. I know what a decent payment is and I don't care how the dealer gets there. The only difference is, I will never put money down on a lease, pay even one SD or allow a termination fee. These are all nonsense.

We are on the same page!!! All this mentioning "blah blah" lease words are crap to me. I aint no car sales man and i'm in no way want to impress like i know car lease calculations. Just give me the damn car at $$$ and see you never. 😜 👍👍👍👍

And i do agree on the money down being a bad idea specially if your car is involved in a total lost incident. I will probably not do money down and just open a savings account and take little by little money to make payments on the monthly due date.

This was about 3 months ago. There aren't many 14s left from what I've seen.

5000 Cap Cost and my lease is $680.89. People here seem to be getting rape with lease quote. It took research, persistence, time and a $4,000 CREDIT postcard BMW sent to my mailbox. But when i was searching last year several dealers was quoting me 1300+ a month.
Was the $5k cap cost including the $4k BMW credit? The only possible downside to your deal was the cap cost, if your GC gets totaled/stolen, that money is gone. Other than that, that's a smoking deal.

No. The 4K credit was on top of it. My lease contract says that total money out of pocket was like 13k but in reality i just put $5000 plus normal fees.

FYI, there's now a $7,500 factory to dealer incentive on 2014 6 series models still in stock through Sept 2nd.

That means you could get a 640 or 650 2014 for $6500-7000 under dealer invoice pricing on 2014's left. That's almost 15k off sticker for a 650i (one example).

Lease residuals for 2014 are still pretty decent. Using a 650GC with a ~$100k sticker price as an example, you should be able to get a $1200-$1300/mo lease payment for 24 months, and around $1000/mo for 36 months with these discounts.

I've also seen a hint or two that BMW loyalty incentives may be back as well. If the loyalty bonus is back, even better.

I'm assuming this is for coupes and convertibles and not GCs?

$7,500 2014 incentive includes GC's. I just bought one. It includes all trim lines. Wound up with a deal close to $7,000 under dealer invoice. Not many left on the lots, but if you find one, you're in luck.

FYI, Costco's website stays pretty current with factory to dealer incentives. I use it as a reference even though I don't use Costco. http://www.costcoauto.com/new_cars/b...?trimid=358472 (click on Rebates and Incentives)

Shouldn't have too much trouble negotiating a deal for ~$7,000 under invoice on 2014 GC's, Verts and coupes.

He said earlier he put $5k towards cap reduction, $4k credit from BMW, another $4k for title/fees for a total drive off of $13k.

Agree here and with most posts above. Just got a great deal on a 2014 650xi GC with $10k off the sticker and a great deal on my 2012 550i lease as an early turn in/trade in. As for cash out of pocket for the CG; just paid $2500 down and covered my tax/title/licensing fees to minimize added costs. Also no security deposit either on a 36 mo lease. Was the last 2014 GC on their lot BTW so if you find an 2014 still there in stock I found many dealers are willing to talk turkey and numbers. Also was offered USAA rebate=$500 off and just got email that my BMW CCA Rebate=$1000 was approved and forwarded to BMW for payment. So am okay with my deal...stumbled on. Its a great car so far...have only seen ONE on the road so far prior to getting it unlike my F10 5 series which I saw almost daily while out and about.

Congrats on your 6 lease. As for 5 series popularity, i live in the Washington bridge area and 5 series are everywhere. So much that is becoming a played out car but a really predictable good looking car.
