14 m6 Bangs into a gear once in a while
So I picked up 14 M6 Gran coupe 1.5 month ago 33k miles. Transmission bangs, slams into the gear happened to me twice already. When I come at full stop fast from 60 to 0 let's say at a stop sign. As soon as I stop and try to move at regular speed first gear bangs into second gear hard like someone hit you from behind. Drive train malfunction comes on, restart the car and everything is fine again. Happened to me twice in 1 month. Does that happened to anyone in here once in a while?

I'm guessing this happens in D?
My car maintains 2nd gear until virtually complete stop. In D, I drive exclusively in the 3 bar setting.

If you're getting the drive train malfunction, the fault code will be stored in the computer. I'd have someone scan it and see what the car is telling you.
I've noticed the DCT is a bit quirky at times. Could be your pedal pressure is not enough and the computer is dumping the clutch (per-se) causing it to lurch and bang. You really have to drive this car like a manual. |

I also have to suggest as I have always in the past, in D, you should drive in setting 3. Setting 1 slips the clutch way too much and IMO, lugs the engine.
