M6 to X650i M sport

Gents,

I need your council on this. Presently I have a 2013 M3 and a 2014 M6, both manuals. I truly love and enjoy both cars but I lean towards the M3 more as it's a more visceral feeling car. I've own the M6 for a year and only have 2100 miles on it. you are quite aware it's not a cheap car. I'm considering trading it for a 2015 X6 50 m sport. Pure conjecture as this point but will I end up regretting it? I would save 700.00 a month by "downgrading" to the X6.

I'm truly at a quandary as to what to do...

Thanks for your thoughts and time.

A friend of mine asked me this question today:
"Why didn't you cross shop Maserati GT over M6?".
I looked at him and offered him to join me for a short trip from Irvine to Newport beach (about 20 miles)... Selecting MDM, on the way I showed (off) him the power of M6 while jumping off the line from standstill and great handling when changes the lanes in freeways... I also let him feel that fantastic kick on gear shifting at red line ... Then the fun part that I enjoy the most... driving at 40-50 mph at second gear and suddenly floor the gas. Car moves like a rocket and push you back to the seat.
After couple of these actions () he looked at me and said: NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY
So, I bet you will regret especially since you have a rare M6 MT unless $700 per month is a big deal for you that I doubt it is... M6 is a Powerful, gorgeous, torque monster and rarely cars in her class can keep up with her

Less is more perhaps?

Or you sell your M6 and just enjoy your M3. Just think how much you would save!!

Although different cars (the V8 in the m3 is awesome) I wouldn't see the need for 2 coupes. I would personally prefer an SUV and one sporty car. Also, 2100 miles a year to me does seem quite low and not worth it for what you are paying (IMHO). The m6 is not an exotic and regardless of mileage it will depreciate quickly. It seems like you do prefer driving the m3 so keep it and get another car. Good luck in your decision making process!

guys I couldn't bring myself to do it. The X650 with the bi-color seats is beautiful but a manual M6 is a rare car indeed. They want to see my 2013 M3 for possible trade but I have after market seats that will hurt value. But they have an appoved sale from BMW financial and I'm sure want to try hard to push it thru. An M6 and a X6 50i is a nice combo.
