For those with vorsteiner side blades
Just curious those who have the side blades what condition are they in. I have always been very careful to not scrape them since my car is lowered. I recently dropped my car off at the shop and when I got it back I noticed they had scrapped the bottom of them pretty bad. You cant notice it unless you look underneath the car, just curious if everyone is in the same boat?

I surprisingly have not scratched mine at all. My front lip though is pretty banged up. I am debating on replacing it but afraid it will happen again. I won't valet my car and am very careful but roads in Miami are horrible.

Other than that, I haven't had any issues with scraping, but then my car is not lowered. I stuck hook and loop tape on the underside of the front lip and covered it with carbon fiber tape just in case I scrape on anything. All I have to do is replace the CF tape if I do scrape.

curious about this can you take pics of thi she hook and loop and tape. My front lip is scratched and don't want to spend another chunk of money on something that will get damaged again.

Spolier Protection from scrapes
Below are pictures of the CF tape and the Hook & Loop Fastener... Also pictured is where I placed the fastener and tape on the spoiler. Process: - Cut and stick a piece of the hook and loop (H&L) fastener to the bottom of the spoiler ensuring it lines up with the front of the lip - Cut another piece of the H&L fastener and 'Hook' it to the other piece of H&L fastener. - Cut and stick the CF tape over the hook and loop fastener to cover it. You may need some crazy glue to ensure the tape sticks to the side of the H&L fastener. The CF tape blends in enough with the spoiler such that it doesn't look that out of place. Occasionally rocks hit the CF tape and it rips. I just cut a piece of CF tape and superglue it on to cover it up.
