AC Schnitzer lowering springs for 4 series Gran Coupé (F36) now available

Suspension lowering springs for 4 series Gran Coupé by AC Schnitzer

If there is one thing AC Schnitzer excel at, it's suspension. All our suspension kits are developed to enhance performance while retaining excellent ride quality. "Rather fast than hard" is the motto of AC Schnitzer lead development engineer Manfred Wollgarten, and this philosophy comes through loud and clear in our products.

What's in the box?

Spring kit to lower SE/Sport models 20-30mm (front and back) or M Sport models around 15mm.

What's so great about it?
  • Compatibility – our suspension springs are fully compatible with BMW adaptive suspension and x-drive. Adaptive modes (comfort, sport and sport+) work even better than standard with these springs.
  • Warranty – the BMW warranty on your car remains in force. In addition, every product from AC Schnitzer comes with a warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, or to the end of the 3 year BMW GB standard warranty, whichever is longer. This warranty also includes related components should our product be the cause of a problem.
  • Quality - AC Schnitzer products are developed in-house by our own engineers, thoroughly tested on the specific car and TUV approved – your guarantee that everything we make meets or exceeds OEM standards for quality, safety and durability. This also means that under EU Block Exemption rules your BMW dealer cannot exclude or void your car from warranty claims unrelated to the upgrade.

OK so what does it cost?

£246.85 - £269.55 inc VAT, depending on exact car model. 10% discount is available to F30post forum members by using the code "F30POST" at checkout on our website.

What about fitting?

This upgrade can be ordered and fitted at over 30 BMW dealers and 20 independent BMW specialists around the UK. Fitting takes around 4 hours at dealer rates including a recommended KDS wheel alignment.Click here for a full dealer list.

Where can I order online?

Is that all I need?

Read what these Bimmerpost forum members had to say about our spring kits for the 3 series (F30/F31):

“Big improvement! …My car now handles as it should. It's not an Mcar, but for driving on the road it's superb and it's fun. Ride comfort is brilliant with adaptive, ACS springs and non runflats!”

“A big improvement on my car....better turn in, less dive under braking, less roll, comfy and less float..a better all round ride. Well worth the money.”

“With ACS springs IMO, I think you have everything to gain - and nothing to lose (well maybe a few hundred quid )…These springs could (should!) be fitted on cars straight from the factory.”

“My experience was very positive moving to ACS springs on adaptive dampers. Resolved all the sloppy driving problems...Lorcan was very helpful, and I can highly recommend his customer service.”

“Agree with all the positive comments. No regrets at all having the springs fitted, which was about 2000 miles ago.”

“Had these fitted yesterday and have to say that I am very impressed. To those that worry about it riding like the old E90 and being very hard, don't worry. Drove it 170 miles today over back roads and motorways and it is perfect. I echo the thoughts of everyone else in that this is how the car should have been from BMW. A perfect compromise between sporty and comfortable. Thanks Lorcan and AC Schnitzer.”

“...the control is just immense vet there is no harshness even in sport. Others are right, the springs and shocks now work together...It's just amazing, the handling is simply outstanding now. All in all, a great upgrade - recommended to all.”
