Brake pedal play and clicking normal?

I recently noticed an audible clicking sound from my brake pedal when I slightly tap my foot on it without fully pressing it. I wasn't sure if this was normal. There is a little play if I shake the pedal with my hand. Anyone else have this?

Could be the brake sensor switch that triggers things like brake lights? I don't *think* mine clicks, but I had one on another car that made a little noise...
