M6's didn't come with multi-display dash?!
Picked my car up and was really excited about this feature....put the car into sport plus, and alas, it doesn't have it!?

I know. disappointing that's the coolest part. Even the 2015 650 has it and the 2015 M6 does not (that I've seen).
I also found out (or was told) that some early build 2014 M6 do not have TPMS readings (actual pressure) like my 2014 535i has. I drove one this week and the actual tire pressure didn't come up, just that the pressure was fine. |

It's M car and that's why it has smoker package
Tire pressure/temperature can be coded...

@M6-Coupe - Do you mean the actual tire pressure in each tire can be coded to be displayed? I would really like to know the pressure vs just knowing its low. Do you happen to know the coding for this? I have coded several options on my car but I don't know the location of the tire pressure option.

Look at this thread: http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1066286 I like this feature too and that's the only reason I'm thinking about coding

Let me know if you need any help getting the coding software, token, and cable. I can get you going with what you need and I have a sheet of coding options that are pretty cool.
I found the option in the PDF sheet I have. Didn't notice it before but then again when I initially coded the car I am not even sure I knew it didn't show the tire pressure and temp by default. Brian Last edited by bigbrian; 12-13-2014 at 04:17 PM.. |

Blah... Coded the tire pressure and temp option but the reading just shows "--" on each tire. Must be another config I am missing or maybe it doesn't work on my car.
I always thought it was really odd the m6 didn't show the pressure because about every other car in the world half the price shows it. You would figure a car of this caliber would show it. Brian |

OK, well, I feel better then....I thought maybe mine was maybe just an early production date and that everyone else's M cars had this...but as stated, none of the M cars have this. I'll still take the M6 without this over the 650i with it

If it's like my 5, it won't read for a while, until you drive a bit. Drive it s few and then check it while it's rolling, you may get a diff result. |

For some reason my 2013 f13 has tyre and temp reading on each wheel . There must be a difference for the European models to the US models.

I do agree with you. Looks like the European models are different and that's why people code their car here in US. The feature is there but has been deactivated for US customers.... I don't know why I really don't care if my car does not have some features that other cars such as Audi or MB or ... have, but what bothering me is why features that are already implemented in design process like this feature, are deactivated..

The only time the reading per tire has been useful to me is I could see how much the dealer over inflated each tire when I dropped in for Nitrogen.
Bought the 535i and it had less than 29psi in each tire, took it in to top off the Nitrogen had 49-51 psi. Gotta love the "techs" at some of these stealerships. I have my own Nitrogen setup, never going to the dealer for something as simple and they still get it wrong. |

And yes, I concur with everyone in this thread: this feature should never be deactivated on a brand/car like BMW/M6. From a luxury, performance, and safety standpoint, tire pressures should be standard and accessible. |

I hear you and I know there are many options such as all HUD features, fob key (closing the windows and folding the mirror), removing that annoying seat belt message,... but as I said the only feature that I really love to have is that tire pressure/temp reading... Oh BTW, do you have the list of all features?
