M6 Start up screen

Haven't been on the forum for a while so I'm not sure if this was discussed earlier.
I have the SO M6 convertible (2013) as pictured. The screen would start where the last screen was (usually navigation for me). During one of the dealer services, it started to cold start on the nav screen and hot starts it would go to the main menu where you have to select Navigation. Just an extra few steps.
My M3 and other Bimmers would always go back to the screen where you left off and the M6 was OK until recently.
The dealer reset both keys and finally said that there was nothing they can do.
Find it odd that is was OK then suddenly its doing this.
Note: The settings are correct.
Was wondering if anyone else experienced this issue and does your M6 remember what screen you were on when you start up?
Comments and help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Probably they performed software update and it's part of new update!

My car is going in for service next week (driver seat is wobbly). I am going to make it very clear I do not want a software update done to my car.

They performed software update to my car months ago! I have no issue with revving when stationary after software update. Car got more nimble after software update IMO
