Any suggestions as to how to make this next month or two go by faster/what did you do to make the ordering process fun once it started getting "real"?
Site hasn't updated but my CA emailed me and told me no more changes, as it got bumped to a week 19 production I just want this thing to get to California already! Frozen black Opal white full leather 6 speed MT Executive package Black 343m wheels M performance wheel with LED lights M spoiler

I can't believe this will be my first NEW car. Not a bad starting point However- all the threads I've read about the wait on ordering being agonizing while I'd think to myself "they're being over dramatic" I get it now. Hahaha

Weren't you the one that said you were not going to track, email or think about it until it arrives so it could be a great surprise? I feel like that was only a few days ago.

Mr. S - have you used the 800-831-1117 number? I prefer it over My BMW because the 800# gives more info, such as when the car is in the paint shop prior to assembly, etc. It just makes it more fun, IMO.

Rush hour is a bit much but the clutch is really smooth so it's not that bad

Example - 18008311117;2;66996489;1 If I use that as my bmw saved phone number, it will enter in the correct number on each prompt. Then go straight to the status. Last edited by dsad1; 05-08-2015 at 02:37 PM.. |

Wasn't til the last few days that I learned about "owners circle/my BMW". This whole ordering experience is completely new to me,not to mention I'm usually inundated with projects and dead lines to keep me busy most of the time to really care (up until this week when I made the time) as long as I know it's on it's way. My last m6 was a take over, so I did no waiting whatsoever. This is actually my first new car in my 26 years of life. You also have to keep in mind- my order is not common. Everything from exterior paint to interior is either special order or a priority 1 option. I was warned from every dealership before striking a deal that it would face a few delays due to the options. They also warned me that the order being individual+ a 6 speed in Southern California would be a bigger challenge. It was supposed to have originally been delayed til week 24 completion however- so in all actuality- it got bumped up.
