ADV1's and H&R Finally Installed!

What's up everyone, so my ADV 5.0 MV2 CS was finally complete yesterday. After picking them up from the facility I had them directly mounted to the tires and had H&R springs put on. I'm absolutely loving the new look and it's amazing how much a drop and wheels can change the look of the car.

I'll be out of town for the weekend but will have an official shoot done when I'm back. For now, enjoy these cell phone pics and official pictures of the wheels off ADV's website

Specs:
21x9.5 265/30/21
21x11 305/25/21

The finish of the wheels is brushed gunmetal with clear

Good choice on finish. It compliments alpine white very well. Fitment is dead on!

To each his own. I went with exposed hardware cause Alpine White isn't a loud color by any means and thought it would add to the "class" appeal the car has. Can't go wrong either way!

It's advertised as 1 inch all around. I'm still waiting for them to settle a bit more

I like it either way... The exposed hardware does add some busy'ness but it also adds a race-like-look which I like. I wanted to go with exposed hardware on mine but ADV1 said they didn't do exposed hardware on the deep concave wheels. I am happy with the hidden hardware but either way "exposed" or "hidden" ADV1 makes a badass wheel that looks killer. I personally feel ADV1's designs are far ahead of other wheel makers right now.

@darryl865 - Any plans for some carbon fiber on this beast? Boy o boy... Vorsteiner Full Aero Kit would look sick against the white alpine. I don't think I have seen a white alpine with the full aero kit on it yet so will that be your next step? LOL!

Wow that is stunning!!

Quick question for those of you running 21"s and lowered M6s. How rough is the ride, how careful do you need to be? I LOVE the look, but in Massachusetts roads are far from perfect, and potholes are a fact of life..

Coming from a previous slammed G37 that I owned before the M6, driving at this height isn't bad at all for me. In regards to the drop by the H&R springs, it's a little more stiff than stock and you feel the road a bit more.

Here in sunny Southern California, the roads aren't bad which makes driving a lowered car a bit easier. Though, in any case when driving a lowered car, one would have to be careful regardless. There's always a learning curve to driving a car when it's lowered, but once you figure that out and get used to it, it'll be second nature.
