It means that they are waiting for an open chassis/Production spot. Your order has been submitted but it has not been accepted/assigned to a chassis.

Don't worry, this is very common for a low volume car like the 6-Series

Thanks. I spoke with the dealer he provided me with a production number . Told me my car is to be done week 17 and then the long delivery wait
