iDrive iPhone integration
Hi All,
Just getting used to my new 640D and loving it. Was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue on iDirve iPhone integration? I have an iPhone 6S and have paired it with the car via the usual route. I use Audible and Spotify and find that there is no way to access the music on the phone once Audible or Spotify have been used. The only way to access the music is to unlock the phone and manually shutdown the Audible and Spotify app's. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone know of a work-around? Many thanks in advance. |

yes I find this too, once spotty Is running, and you go to the device itself, it just shows Spotify via USB without a way to switch to internal songs/podcasts etc. If there's a way, I don't know about it but would like to know too

No doesn't bother me enough to look into it further, it would have to be a major software update to allow this I think. I mainly use Spotify anyway, never have any local music on my phone and only occasionally use podcasts. can get round it by using a third party podcast app I guess. Also if using Apple Music then I guess the integration would be more like you expect, but that's just a guess.

Ok, well thanks for the response.
Mine is Nov 16 model so it should be the most up to date but maybe only Apple play will resolve this. Bit of a pain though. |
