Silver 650i M-Sport - In Love!!! [Pics]

I'm new to the forum... and BMW. Picked up the machine below in December and I'm thoroughly impressed. Coming from much lighter cars, the only negative is that the 650i definitely shows it's weight in corners. But given it's size, I'd say she feels lighter than I expected... And pulls much stronger as well. I love just about everything else! The sound of the exhaust/engine during acceleration/up-shifts gives me chills. lol.

Since I bought the car as a project for my site, she will inevitably be heavily modded. In fact this car will probably end up as one of the most insane (power, brakes, stance, etc) 650s out there. However, I have to say that I'm loving the car so much stock that messing with it might prove more difficult than I anticipated.

Anyway, for now, here she is in stock form:

Happy in San Francisco!!!

Haha, I hear ya. There is very little wrong with it so "constructive" modding will be a challenge. Glad you like!

Haha, I know. It was quite intimidating when I first moved there but not so bad now.

What's that green light on the seat?

And on the front headlights, mine doesn't have that side yellow LED lights, is that a particular for Coupes?

We don't have it in Europe either. This is probably US specific, like the yellow markers in front of the wheel arcs. Looks kind of cool.

BMW calls it "Active Front Seats". When ON, it gently raises and lowers each side of the seat cushion while you drive. Supposed to balance your spine or something. Seriously. lol.

To me it feels quite strange when ON and most of the few passengers I've had in the seat were not fans. Anyway, I believe it's a feature you get with the 20-way adjustable front seats (don't know if it's USA-only or not).

Fantastic looking motor photos amazing - glad I don't have to park there - are they 19" or 20" wheels ? Enjoy!

When you combine the Luxury seat package with the M Sport are the seat's less sporty? Or the same seat's just ventilated and "active"?

Gehmjc21,

The seats are physically the same, but are perforated everywhere but the side bolsters.
