M6 mats

I picked up my 2013 M6 yesterday and was disappointed to findout BMW does not make the embroidered M6 carpeted mats like they did for the previous model M6.
Has anyone found mats with the BMW M6 logo aftermarket.

M6 mat update...

So I got the M6 embroidered mats today. See pic of the 4 mats you get.

1. In comparing the plain black mats you get with the M6, the quality of the new ones is less. The underside of the new mats have a thin foam (grey) covering whereas the original plain mats have a sort of nylon material (black). The overall thickness is similar. Once in the car there is no difference with the overall feel...

2. Here's the catch that I discovered after installing. The fit was not perfect. It doesn't fill out the mat space and does not tuck neatly around the foot pedal and foot rest. I was curious so I inspected some of the packaging and found a part # with a label that said E64 M6 convertible. I then punched the part # into shopbmw and sure enough, UnitedBMWOnline is selling these E63/64 mats online for the F12/13 cars. Not cool.

So word to the wise...these mats are for the old E63/64 body:

I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what's up...

Old Mats

Yes, I was smart enough to test fit them in the dealership and sure enough they just don't fit right. Compared with the new F13 mats, the older ones are smaller. Also as you noted, check the label on the end of the packaging and it says E64.

Noushy

BTW Still waiting to see if BMW does factory mats for the new M6 or if a decent third party mat comes around. For now sticking with the factory plain black mats and the winter mats.

Hey Noushy,

Place I ordered from was apologetic and refunded my $ and sent free return shipping label. He checked into factory mats for M6 and said they should come in 2nd quarter this year. Hope this helps.

PJFLA's mats do look great from the pics he sent. Pricier than others but give a very custom look. One of a kind look to interior. Nice!
But I guess our vehicles are pricier than most too.

Thanks. The color of the mats didnt match exactly so we went back to drawing board. I landed on OEM with a custom carbon fiber insert. Now Im really happy with 'em! Havent seen the price yet, but they should be cheaper since they used my OEM mats.
