Speed limit removal?

So does anyone know of a successful speed limiter removal yet on M6/M5 ?
Ive searched but cant find any success stories? Back in the day Turner motorsports sold a little unit which you installed and then too the speed limit to 300 by fooling the ecu telling it youre still doing 250km/h..??

PLEASE help me if you know any firm which can remove limiter!??

Thanks

I think several tuners now claim to have cracked the limiter, for example Eurocharged http://www.eurocharged.com/products/...-m5-467-detail

What is the limiter supposed to be set at for a US Non-CP car? I thought it was 154-155mph but I have had my car to 157mph (that is what the heads up was showing).

It's supposed to be 150mph but it will go higher than that. I had the limiter removed on my E63 M6, but before it was removed I "tested" the limiter and what the limiter did on the car was an interesting "rubberband"effect. The car went easily up to 155ish then the pace of the climb slowed a bit, climbed up to 170ish with a little bit of a struggle and then the car slowly pulled back to around 160-165 (all speedo and HUD readings which are overestimated by 5mph).

We deleted vmax for about a year ago. You will need to reboot your both dme's to set Vmax

I have hit a little over 170..I believe it was 173 while racing against 2 Ferrari 458's. All 3 of us were nose to nose. No-one was pulling away.
