Rybrook really made the handover special: car was under a veil in a special handover area, pictures taken as I pulled the sheer veil off, sales team and one of the few BMW "Genius"s at hand taking pictures, and a fantastic bouquet of flowers for my lovely wife.

The car is stunning - so please I got the spec right after 4 extended test drives. Don't miss anything I didn't spec, and so pleased the stuff I did spec works well.

Thanks to so many of you he re whose advice, pictures, opinions and time has been invaluable and greatly appreciated.

Enjoy the car, I'm still loving mine despite the switch pack issue. That 40d really is a monster when you put your foot down.
