Tire Change?

Im coming up to 5800 km or around 3600 miles and I already feel I need a tire change. I've got Michelin SuperSports on and they're starting to look worn down. Also grip isn't as good as before but not drastically bad. I don't drive the car too hard but I definitely push it at least once a day. How often do you guys change your tires? Every how many km/miles?

I replaced all 4 tires at ~12k miles with only 1/16" tread left on rear and ~3/32" tread left on front

I don't mean to cause topic drift, but did your tires wear evenly? So far the tires on my car appear to be wearing evenly, but we had to replace the tires on our '06 CLS55 every 10k miles because the inside surfaces would wear to the metal fabric while the outsides looked like new. Alignments did nothing to solve the problem, probably because such problems usually are caused by too much negative camber, and one could not adjust camber in those cars (not even with eccentric control-arm mounting bolts). Since sporty cars often crank in negative camber for handling purposes, I'm hoping I don't have CLS55 redux with the M6GC.

My rear tires had worn evenly; however the front ones had worn unevenly. The outside had worn more and I think it's because of the way I push the car at corners.

That may explain a lot for us as well. A significant amount of our driving is along a very curvy road that follows a river. While I love to toss the car along the curves (and the M6GC kicks ass on the CLS55 in that regards), it has to be tough on the tires. Our rear tires on the CLS55 had the same uneven-wear problem, though.
