2013 BMW M6 Bagged -- Pics

So.... This project has taken some time but it's finished up (minus a few little bugs). Trunk work was completely fabricated from ground up by a local guy in town. Top tank is an air tank and bottom tank is methanol. Struts started as KW Variant 3 coilovers and were modified to fit bags with the help of a couple local shops. Air management is Accuair e-Level.

Pics below were taken at the grand opening of our mobile electronics shop in Wichita, Kansas. 316 Customs -- https://plus.google.com/+316customs

The ride of the vehicle is absolutely incredible. It rides very smooth and performance has been retained. This was my biggest concern going into the whole thing but I have been pleasantly surprised.

And.... Here is a bagged M6!

BigBrian, looks like you have 3 x laser shifters in the front. Is it working well for you?

Also, how far can you raise and lower your car?

I appreciate the nice words from everyone. I am still having fun with the car and enjoying the conversation it brings whenever I bring it to local gatherings. Next on the list is to introduce the methanol which I will be doing in the next month. Also, Jerry Thornton @ EuroCharged has a new set of turbos they built for me w/ billet wheels and new internals. When EuroCharged installs the turbos we will put a new clutch kit in the transmission that will hold up to 800ft pd. I am also going to have EuroCharged switch from the JB4 to a custom ECU tune.

I have taken my time with everything I have done (or had done) to the car. I am really happy with how it has turned out so far and it's fun to take it places. Most people's reaction is "that's a BMW" which I really get a kick out of when they say that.

Thank you! The intake is an MSR Intake. I JetHot coated (their classic coating) the pipes and hydrodipped the velocity stacks to match the Playboy Blue powder coated calipers (whole car carries the same blue theme).

How about the whole car for a black Ferrari 458?

ALPriority Laser Jammers. They have saved my butt a few times haha!

The ALPriority system works really well. I have evaded 4 tickets so far but I have also found most use radar in my area. I drive the car at the same height the car sat when I had the KS HAS kit on the car (lowest setting on the HAS). I can raise the car 1" higher than that setting which isn't a whole lot but it's something. My bagged strut setup was a tricky one to be quite honest, it's a one-off bagged strut setup that we made for the car, so it was a trial and error sort of thing if you know what I mean. The end result including ride and handling is amazing which was something I was concerned with going into this.

There is no perfect bagged strut setup out there for the F12/13 M6. I purchased a bagged strut setup from Universal Air and the bags were too big in diameter -- they rubbed against the inner fenders. I also had Mario @ AirTekk give it a shot at modifying my KW Variant 3s into bagged struts and that was a NIGHTMARE -- there is a lawsuit pending that will be filed against AirTekk shortly (from me) -- those guys are terrible people.
