Tire Pressure 17 or 16 M6 -Low pressure warning

Stock tires .. what pressure are you running? Less than 1K miles and got the warning light today. Checked all tires and all are exactly the same . . right at/below 130. Door jam says 35 .. curious to know what folks are running on stock and why low pressure warning would all of a sudden pop.

I tend to run a bit lower PSI to get a bit more traction. Looks like I'll need to get into the mid 30's to get the nag light to turn off.

If you reset the TPM won't it adjust to whatever is in the tires?

I personally would be worried about handling performance at that low of a pressure... It's a heavy car and can put a lot of force on the rubber, where you don't want it to deform sideways, etc... I dunno. Not my area of expertise exactly, but when the door jam tells me to run 36 PSI for 100+ MPH, then I run 36 PSI

Your right, it will reset to you're tyres.

I drive my car on my own with no passengers, I find 2.2 bar (32lb) very good.Tyre pressure soon reach 2.6 bar (37.5lb) and 40c temp when I am in the mood with an outside temp of say 18c.Just to confirm, tyres are 265/35 and 295/30.
Think you may be looking at 4 persons and 4 luggage in your door jam
