M6 GC CP delayed build
Hi all, getting a bit pissed off now.
Ordered my M6 GC CP 24th May 2014, quoted week 27 build, then told it had been delayed to week 31, now I am told because the Factory is closing for summer Holidays, it is being moved to week 41 delivery 3 weeks later thats F**king November. I got onto BMW UK who are going to see what they can do Monday. I want a M6 GC from them till mine arrives (loaner) or I will re-Tax the M5 for another 3 months, but this is costing me. Anyone?.

A m6 loaner , you will be lucky . I had a problem with my aircon for 3 months they kept saying it on back order . So I told them they can have the car back , as it was too long to wait . I was traveling to Europe for a road trip and to the ring /salvo then monoco, in 31 degrees !.
I asked for a M6 to use , they offered me an insignia ! . 1 week before the road trip , I contacted BMW uk and a unit from an other car was taken out and mine replaced. I think it depends on the franchise you use , my dealership customer service is pretty poor . They have tried , but I think my expectations are a little high on a 70k car !. |

Here in US, the best thing dealers can do by loaner car is 528 or 328 with M sport package. They usually have a couple more expensive car (6 or 7 series) but not always available ... I have never heard anybody got any M car as loaner (at least in my area)

My local dealership had an M6 GC in that had been lent to an M6 owner while work was done on their car so it does happen, probaly only if you kick up a stink though!

I have had similar problems with the servicing department . They charged me £100 to sort out some stone chips on the bonnet , when I picked it up, it was like a 2 year old used a paintbrush and just dabbed the bonnet . I am debating taking it to Lloyds newcastle for the remainder of the servicing contract.
I am thinking about trading her in for a convertible , but no one seems to think its worth while contacting me, even though I have left various messages ! . |
