Alpina B8 or Corvette C8

I know, seems like apples and oranges, but I'm going to make a move next July. I will either give up my 2016 640 GC and get an Alpina B8, or I'll keep the 640 and add a Corvette to my garage. I'm of two minds. I am very intrigued by the gentleman's rocket, a stealthy 201 mph missile (bragging rights, anyhow), but I also wouldn't mind a dedicated sports car for play while hanging on to my luxo-cruiser.

Also, the idea of being another old fart in a Corvette is something I struggle with.

As another old fart, I don't fault you for wanting a true sports car, but for me a C8 corvette would not be it. That car is way too overdesigned in my opinion, especially the rear end. "You're almost there boys, but add a few more pointless sharp edges and angles!"
