2014 M6 Convertible

Last week i picked up my Singapore Grey M6 with Silverstone interior.
The car runs now on Pirelli winter tires on 408 (thanks bimmernum14) wheels.
The first mod is already ordered. The spacers for the rear axle. It looks terrible at the moment.
But the rest of the car is wonderful. i love it

Here are some pics. One from the delivery. The rest from yesterday. The car is very soiled. Therefore this "alternative" pics at the moment.

Nice car... I am confused though.

The wheels on the car in the pics are not 351s and I don't think 351s are even available for the m6. They are 408m wheels as far as I can see. I have them as my winters on my m6GC. I put 20mm spacers on the reads as I agree they looked terrible before. Do you know what size spacers you ordered ?

Also, help me solve the mystery on the wheels...

Post more pics too a little brighter so we can more derails. Color combo. Looks great.

You're right. I looked at the invoice. They are 408 wheels. Thanks for the note.

The spacers are from H&R. 40mm for the rear axle. I think it's the same as you have installed.

I will make new pictures next weekend. Then i will install the spacers and wash the car.

Which Pirelli tires? Are these your winters or year round wheels?

Yes, these are my winter tires.
Pirelli Sottozero W240 S2.
In the summer season I have the black OEM wheels.

Gotcha. All makes sense now. The spacers make all the difference. If you go to the bimmerbum14 post I out out with pics, there is a back/side shot showing how far the rears are out with 20mm on each side.

I have seen your pictures. A very nice car.
Your pictures are the reason for my decision for the spacers

Today i have installed the spacers. It took 30 minutes.
I'm happy with the result. Not bad for winter tyres.

here two short videos to demonstrate the traction issues with the Pirelli winter tyres. The road was dry. No chance to accelerate without traction problems.

I think its time for the spring and summer tyres
