Akrapovic exhaust

I installed an akrapovic on my m6 gc, l see the outer pip valves are closed all the time, Iwhat mechanism open them? Is there any way to keep them open manually or remotely?

I believe the valves open automatically. Pressure building in the exhaust opens them up. I'm not 100% on this, since I don't have that exhaust. However, many modern sport exhausts work like this.

2016 BMW M6  [10.00]
I had the exhaustmeiter installed on my car (2016 F13 M6) with M-Performance Exhaust. This allows you to remotely open and close the vacuum operated exhaust silencer valve via a remote. Gets installed in the trunk.

I programmed the middle button on the rear view mirror to open the valves every time I start the car.

I have done exactly this with my Akra on my M5. Works perfectly.

I know some guys just used wire to permanently open the valve on their M5's exhaust.
