Help !!! Kidney Grill 650i F12 Night vision

I purchased my 650i one week ago.
Yesterday I went to my dealer and asked if I can buy black kidney grills for my 650i F12 with Night Vision.
They said No because.
Performance black kidney grills are only for non Night Vision.
I asked if they can paint it they said no because if they will paint it the paint will start peeling of if a stone hit it.
The is one more option if I will buy M6 kidneys. The problem is can I take of the ///M6 emblem.
I don't won't to badge a 650i to a M6.
What can I do ??
Can I take of the the M6 badge ??

JOHNNYCHIRO on BimmerFest got his grilles painted black and he reported no issues. I've seen another thread about someone painting them. If you scuff them up right, prime and do a good job, I don't see a problem painting them.

Also, If you care for the matte black grille look, plasti-dip is an option. I plasti-dipped my grille but I peeled it off because I prefer the gloss black look. Was fine for the few weeks I had it on.

I also have a 650i with Night Vision.
