2015 production and changes?

Anyone know what is going on with changes and when production starts on 2015's?

Would like to see the 6 get the new idrive controller at the very least.

Production year changes usually happen in July unless there's a new model or something. And I think the 2014 6-series models already have the new iDrive controller.

Thanks for that. Do you know the exact build week that the changeover happens and if the M6 changes at the same time or later? May I ask your source?

It's been announced today that the 6er will get iDrive Touch controller and M Sport Exhaust on the higher models as part of the model year changes.

Does somebody know if it possible to upgrade normal knob to the touchpad in 2014 6-series with idrive 4.2?

I bought retrofit kit from Bimmer-Tech recently. Have my car in for service for a different reason this week and having dealer install for me so I don't have to be bothered with pulling trim, etc for self install. Install is supposed to be plug and play with NBT, but also requires coding so the computer recognizes the additional touch module. They're actually working with Bimmer-Tech for the coding piece as they didn't know how to do it. Dealer is going out of their way to try to get it working for me, so certainly can't complain about their service. Will post update once I get to final outcome.
