So i made some changes, After the H&R drop I decided to get a different set of wheels and tires! Should be all on and mounted next week, for now here's a teaser of the Inovit Force 5's in a machined face with gloss black. Tires will be Hankook Ventus R-S3 285/35/20 rear and ventus V12's 245/40/20 fronts.

Can you post more pics of your exhaust tips? I currently have the MSport black tips but I wanted the quad exhaust look with big tips...looks like what you have.

It seems like a quick install at any shop right?

Yeah any muffler shop can cut off the tips and weld in ones like these, it's also reversible. I'll snap some more pics of the back in a little bit and post them up. They are dual 3.5" staggered with a 3" inlet for the 650. These are the exact ones I bought, $100 for 2 sets.

Sweet thanks, I may pick these up. I LOVE how the tips look from the angle in post # 17, first picture. Do you think 4" tips be overkill or would they just not fit with the stock M sport diffuser? But the 3.5" ones look just right.

Here's a few more shots.. I don't think 4" tips will fit with the M sport diffuser. They would fit on the M6/5, they have more room. 3.5" duals fit the entire opening of the diffuser.

Looks great, I think I may go with the gloss black painted tips as it may go more with my black/white theme. I am thinking of possibly going OEM M6 diffuser too.

@Downfourit, nice ride.
Question, by what you said that you did a muffler delete, did you do anything to the front pipe and the mid pipe?
I like the sound of your car, and would love to implement the same setup for my X5 customers, but if it only muffler delete, it would looks funny since the rear muffler very noticeable on the X5.

No I had them just remove the rear section (mufflers) and put a 3" pipe on each side and weld on the hangers, and grounding threaded posts so everything was just like OEM.

With the hanging muffler of the X5 design you could go one of 2 ways, just remove it and see how it looks, it may not be noticeable, or try and leave it there while bypassing it with new pipes. I would just get rid of it.

I've always had loud cars, this one with the delete is music to my ears. A few of my previous cars (335i, Audi V8 S4, Saleen Extreme cammed) were usually catless, straight pipes. This one is quiet in comparison. Different strokes, for different folks!

Great job!!

I'm actually a little surprised that you chose to go with 40 series tire up front.

Lowered with h&r myself and probably will stick with the 30 series or 35 max when using a 20" wheel.

perhaps the gc gets a lower drop? I'm satisfied with my front end drop on the gc, but not my rear. Did you feel the same after getting it lowered?

I went with OEM sized tires with my first set of 20's and was not happy with the gaps, I also was not happy with BBS LM reps on the 6, the centers looked too small for the body of the car.

I don't know about the drops between GC and coupe but when i switched out the rims and tires, same sized rims just higher profile tires they filled out the fenders and quarters perfectly and I get better traction, better ride quality, handling, etc. It's better all around so i stuck with it.

Here's a good side shot in the light to show that there are no gaps at all between the tires to the body of the car and for me that is ideal. If you can post one we could see a comparison of the drops between the coupe and gran coupe, also how the tire sizes look.
