taking oil sample
I recently got a 2014 M6 Grand Coupe. I would like to do an oil analysis before the warrantee expires, but have not found an easy way to obtain a representative oil sample to send to Blackstone lab. I would like to avoidtryingto get a hotsample from the drain plug.
Regards

It's is recommended to get oil heated up, cooled, then drain. Halfway through the drain, stick the bottle under to collect the sample.

I wanted to do a mid term oil sample, since I am not due for a change for another 9000 miles. I may have to sacrifice an oil change to get it done before the warranty runs out.
