BMW software update

heey guys im wendring weather i can update the software of my 2012 650 or not. i noticed my friend's 650 2015 has different system looking. so is there any way that I can update the system?

I don't think you can upgrade to that system because there were some hardware updates since 2012. However, you can update the version you have through downloads from the BMW website. I have a video on my YouTube channel showing how to update iDrive. GI to YouTube and search "Southern6er22 iDrive update" and it should be pretty easy to find.

It's possible to upgrade to the new NBT navigation. But i'm pretty sure BMW shops don't do the upgrade. It's not cheap but its possible.
