Angry nut shell carbon blasting

Has anyone had to do the intake valve carbon removal and if so at what mileage was it done. From what I understand, the engine and subframe of the M6 has to be dropped out to do it. (cant be a cheap service....) I have no indication that it is needed but the recommended interval is 30K miles. I only have 24K so far.

This would be good to know, I have not heard of someone doing a carbon cleaning on the S63TU or even a N63 variant
The subframe 100% has to be removed as the intake manifolds are the bottom
