A few actually, all of a sudden you're a lawyer? All they have to do is say that the tune put strain on the system and it broke, and then you're broke. If you're gonna play with fire, just know you can get burned Nothing is guaranteed, that is all.

Ok well I'm pretty sure thousands of M owners are in trouble then...

I think the M6 internals are forged and can handle a lot more power... but thanks for the heads up

It comes down to what one wants to spend, is comfy with and how much HP one wants to have ... just look at BIGBRIAN!!! I gain a lot of info and understanding from him ... but I am a Panzy compared to him ... but still learn so much

This is a forum for all those above and everyone's opinion and experience counts to educate all who may have questions be they an as is enthusiast, a safe warranty approved mod enthusiast, an then the mega power and mega change enthusiast.

We all love our cars and have a certain threshold we are comfy with ... but the fact we have so much info avail and different experiences and people to touch base with and monitor is amazing.

NO ASSHOLES ON THIS FORUM ... just different comfort levels and experiences to share (BE IT ROAD RAGE (LOL .. SORRY speedracerlo), VANDALISM, CEL DUE TO MODS OR WARRANTY ISSUES)

Mo @ DME Tuning did a great job on my car. With only downpipes and tune I made 677whp and 735wtq and has been great to me. Stock filters and all! Intake next ��

2017 bmw m6 gc 2 engines blew within in. 50k miles

MY ENGINE BLEW TWICE WITHIN IN 50K MILES. SOMEHOW OIL WAS GETTING INTO MY GAS LINE AND CAUSED MY ENGINE TO BUCKLE UP. BMW SAID THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN A M6 OF THAT YEAR HAVE ITS ENGINE BLOW ON TIME, LET ALONE TWICE IN ITS FIRST 50K MILES. ALSO, THE SECOND TIME IT BLEW WAS 2 WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST TIME IT BLEW. BMW HAD TO PAY 36K TO PUT THE FIRST ENGINE IN, AND THIS SECOND TIME AROUND, THEY SENT A ENGINE STRAIGHT FROM THEIR MAJOR HEADQUARTERS IN GERMANY THAT THEY HAND-BUILT. SO IT DOES HAPPEN; THE FUNNY THING IS I HAD AN APPOINTMENT SET TO MODIFY THE CAR 5 DAYS BEFORE. SO, I JUST PUT THAT UP AS GOOD LUCK, WHICH I NEVER HAVE. THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS UNLESS YOU'RE GOING AROUND ANDF ARE REALLY IN THAT CAR, SHOW LIFE, AND LIVE THAT LIFESTYLE, THERE IS NO REASON TO FUCK WITH A M6 STOCK ENGINE. M6 & most BMW engines not forged for your information
so people will replace to forged pistons and rods to handle more power

I went with the MSR. George gave me a forum discount a while back. I'm sure he will honor that. The sound is intoxicating paired with catless DPs...

Regarding tune- if you're in the LA Area, Golan and Sam at AutoTalent down in Gardena have performed most of the work to my car and I can't recommend them and the DME tune enough!
