Soon to be new owner 2007 M6
The car has 22k mileage with all the maintenance records. One owner who traded it back in to the dealer (upgrade) he bought from and who I am buying it from. would anyone suggest that I replace the VANOS filters if they have not been replaced. Please also chime in if you have any other purchasing suggestions.
Thanks |

Def wrong forum.. but heavy items to keep an eye out for would be the high pressure vanos line, SMG pump (not the whole unit), and rod bearings(@50k +/- miles ).
Small items to keep an eye out for would be ionic modules, throttle actuators and voltage regulator(which wouldn't require you to change the whole alternator, just a $60 piece). Theres nothing like that V10 singing at 8k+ RPMs |
