Installed Bimmertech easy usb coding

To start with I know nothing about coding or even general IT programming, however this was really easy. Alot of you probably know all this but I only discovered it the other day.

Type your VIN into the Bimmerfest website and a list of functions that can be unlocked are listed. I paid the $200usd for the lot even though I already had some of the options already.

They emailed some code a couple of days later, I loaded it onto a usb, stick it in middle console wait a bit and it is done. Too easy.

Unlocked things like dvd in motion, services in motion, M start up display, legal disclaimer deactivation, some extra chimes, volume level displayed, compass and sport displays (kw and torque) as in pic along with some other things.

Well worth it if thinking of coding and not that way inclined as myself.

Thanks. I did not know this was available but I think you mean the BimmerTech website

https://www.bimmer-tech.net/bmw-idrive-coding/

Limited options for us impoverished CIC users so I won't bother but seems to be loads you can do with NBT
