Meet Herbie...

Seriously, as good as the M6GC looks… kind of reminds me of a water beetle... hence the name…

No performance mods yet, though I have done the Xpel clear bra (full hood, lower fascia, mirrors, door jams) and stealth radar detector/laser jammer (Beltronics STiR w/ Blinder HP-905). Went with the upgraded rear-view mirror readout with controls in ashtray I'd never use anyway (don't smoke).

Apologies for the low quality pics, but as my nana would say, "An beats nan!"

Enjoy!

Exterior is Black Sapphire.

I punked out when it came to color choices/combos. Didn't have any gauge as to what any of the exterior/interior color choices looked like on the car itself, so I copied the original show car as closely as possible (Canyon Brown w/ Piano Black trim). Chose the Sapphire Black because I had it on my prior car (335i) and its such as timeless/classic color.

Car looks great. I love the Canyon Brown interior.
But what's the scoop on the i8 at the Performance Center.

Very Nice! Great color choices. I second Richard on the Canyon Brown, what a beautiful color. IMO these Gran Coupes are the best looking vehicle BMW has ever made. Congrats!

It was actually a non-functional car. They had it posted out front on coasters and they told me to park next to it for a few photo opps. Shape was very nice and was just after much of the final info was coming online. Lines on that thing are beautiful.
