Hello 6'er. Anyone can recommend the best option to lower an F06 640i xDrive? I heard everything from using the 650i to 550i xDrive suspension. Just need to know the best option with good ride quality. I hate how tall my car sits. Thanks for your feedback.

AC makes springs for an xDrive I think, but I'm not paying $800 for springs. Rather pay more for coils.

The AC Springs are just re-branded Eibach's. Call H&R and see if they have a set for your specific car, get the model number, and order that from a shop or online. They Should be under $400 for the set.

I called H&R, they have no plans to release springs for the 6 series xDrive.

At this point the only thing I think you could do is have a custom set made, but you would have to send them your OEM springs, at least one front and one rear. I know for classic cars they custom make springs all the time to exact specs that you would ask for so I don't see why they couldn't make one for the Xi.

Custom springs are actually a good option. Anyway I can find the BMW springs part numbers? I tried RealOEM, but they don't have the springs part numbers.

I have a stock set in the box, I'll check tomorrow and see if they have part numbers on them
