650i Megan Racing Axle-Back Exhaust Audio Clip

Before I purchased the exhaust, I couldn't find any clips recorded on good audio equipment, hopefully this helps!

Previously, I had the factory M Sport exhaust and zip tied the valves open at all times. Overall, the Megan Racing Supremo axle-back is just a small bit louder than the stock M Sport exhaust, not overbearing at all, quieter than my stock Mustang GT.

Here's an audio clip, stock manifold and midpipe, Megan Axle-Back, cold start
Recorded on Nikon D5500, Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8, Takstar SGC-598

Sounds very good and its definitely a good value. I would say its comparable to putting M6 mufflers on a 650

is the flatulence sound still present like with the stock m sport mufflers when sharply getting off the throttle at high rpms?

Do you know if the Megan exhaust is any good on the 640i M Sport?

I have the Megan Supremo Exhaust on my 640i GC. I did not buy the one with a single tip i bought the ones for the M6 that have dual tips. i took it to an exhaust shop, they spliced it in and had to make a small exteninsion pipe for the hookup. Looks great and sounds great...

I recently removed the resonator before the exhaust and now when you get on it at open throttle she screams. Doesn’t change the interior sound or produce drone I would highly recommend.

Are you referring to this?

Did you replace with an X-Pipe?

How much difference did you notice in sound between only having the megan mufflers and megan mufflers+resonator delete at cruising and in town? Thanks in advance!

Yes that. I just did two straight pipes. You really can’t tell from inside the car. Sound s pretty much the same. No drone, the “burble” sounds a bit more aggressive, but in sport mode when you take off, sounds great. To get the full effect you have to stand outside and let someone pull off for you. Again, inside the sporty luxury sound is un-compromised. A good exhaust shop had me done in less than hour and for 86$.
