Oh god not this again! The E92 had like 10+ special editions, looks like they're about to milk the M5 and M6 lol

No, the reactions to this thread clearly shows the ignorance and close mindedness of the posters.

BMW is a global brand and needs to cater to markets other than USA.

Face it, USA is no longer the #1 market for many things, including BMWs.

You assume that's it's BMW that's entirely responsible for those prices? Import tariffs on non-local cars are 2-300%. BMW isn't realizing any windfalls- particularly on such a limited run.

jeeez only two pages so far and look at all the negativities towards this "Horse" edition and China. Just have some dose of reality and grow up! After all, BMW is just a company trying to make money

Basically what I said. But an edition similar to that wouldn't fare as well in the US. US Editions that sell are special paintwork and interiors - and that's what BMW puts out for our market. China market is different from US in every way, thus why everyone is against it.

BMW's horsing around. What happens to the car next year, when it's the year of the goat. The stitching is permanent and downright gaudy, if they stitched BMW or M it would be more understandable. Plain horsing around.

Bmw has always done a good job of showing their appreciation and respect for their customers whatever the culture I applaud them. I think it was a good idea and the car looks nice, way better than most of the "modded" cars on these forums... you cant buy good taste you have to learn it. Some people are too close minded to just appreciate how nice the car is instead of all this other stuff that doesnt really matter at the end of the day.

"mod tastefully my friends."
