How did BMW get two cars in the performance group, and not one in the COTY group?
The M135 should win. It's hard to be as good as that car is at that price. One'd be shocked if the Porsches, Astons, and the like weren't really good performance cars. But one is far more pleasantly shocked at how good the M135 is, to say nothing of it being a car you can drive every day, as well as insure and repair at sensible prices.

Why not? It's fine if you disagree but when I test drove the RS4 I had two guys with me who both owned E46 M3s and the three of us agreed that the RS4 was better than the M3. This was before the E9x M3 came to market, remember, so compared to the straight six E46 M3 and the lackluster C55 AMG, the RS4 was a pretty big step up.
btw, I definitely agree about the M135i deserving the award more than the M6. |
